Partners and Parents Support Group

Supporting those who support survivors

Ironwood’s Partners and Parents Peer Support Group offers a compassionate space for those who love and support survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Hosted monthly by a survivor and a partner, this group provides understanding, education, and community for family members, partners, and loved ones who want to better support a survivor’s healing journey.

Together, participants share experiences, learn practical tools for communication and self-care, and find comfort in knowing they’re not alone. Meetings are held monthly in the welcoming Ironwood space in Georgetown.

What to Expect

Our Partners and Parents Support Group meets on the last Thursday of each month from 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Ironwood. The evening is hosted by a survivor and a partner, creating a supportive and understanding environment for those who care for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

This is a confidential space where you can ask questions you may not feel comfortable asking anywhere else. You’ll meet other partners and parents who understand what it’s like to support both their survivors—and themselves—on the healing journey.

Grab a snack and a drink from our kitchen, settle in, and spend the evening connecting with people who truly understand.
