This directory is intended to help families quickly access trusted services in Halton Region and Ontario. If your child is in immediate danger, call 911.

Not sure where to start?

If your child has recently disclosed sexual abuse or if you believe your child has been sexually abused:

• Contact your local police service.
• Contact Children's Aid Society if the child is under 16 (or under 18 when protection concerns exist).
• Arrange a medical assessment if recommended.
• Contact a trauma-informed therapist.
• Remember—you do not have to navigate this alone.
