Resource Directory

This directory is intended to help families quickly access trusted services in Peel Region and Ontario. If your child is in immediate danger, call 911.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If your child has recently disclosed sexual abuse or you believe your child may have been sexually abused:

  • Contact your local police service.

  • Contact Children's Aid Society if the child is under 16, or under 18 when child-protection concerns exist.

  • Arrange a medical assessment if recommended.

  • Connect with a trauma-informed therapist or child and youth mental-health service.

  • Remember—you do not have to navigate this alone.
